Hemp Ceremonial Cloth - Earth

$188.00

This ceremonial cloth is crafted from handwoven hemp, sourced from the hill tribes of Vietnam. You can feel the humanness in the fabric — the wabi-sabi texture, the quiet beauty of its imperfections.

It’s naturally dyed with Dioscorea Cirrhosa, known in Vietnam as Củ Nâu, and handstitched using antique hemp thread from Ukraine.

Whether used as a chabu for tea ceremony, an altar cloth, or simply as a grounding piece in your home, it brings a quiet reverence to any sacred space.

Please note that each piece holds its own character — with natural variations in colour and handstitching that make it truly one of a kind.

The cloth has a similar hand feel to heavy linen — sturdy, textured, and grounding.

It measures approximately 29cm x 114cm.
